The executives of Ooredoo Qatar and Telenity were presented the award trophies in the “Infrastructure Service Innovation” category at the GTB Telecoms Innovation Award Ceremony held in London on May 23rd, 2017.

Ooredoo Qatar Virtualized Consolidation Platform (VCP) is a transformation project for legacy Messaging and VAS services, and a reliable quick-to-market execution environment for any future service application. The primary goal of the project was to consolidate and modernize twelve legacy VAS and messaging services that were acquired from a four different vendors over the years. Reaping the benefits of hardware virtualization, consolidated operations and integration to the VoLTE/IMS services, Ooredoo Qatar achieved more than 85% OPEX savings with the VCP solution provided by Telenity.
